Allen Park, Mich. — The Detroit Lions 16th annual Toys for Tots Toy Drive will be held at the Lions-Packers game this Sunday, December 12th at Ford Field. Fans attending are asked to help the United States Marine Corps and its annual holiday toy drive --- Toys for Tots.
The Lions have joined forces with the United States Marines Corps in Detroit, WWJ-TV, 97.1 The Ticket and Central Michigan Movers in this year’s effort. Uniformed Marines will be located at the stadium gates on game day to collect new, unwrapped toys.
Kickoff for the Sunday’s game is 1:00 pm. Marines will begin collecting toys at 10:30 am. The toys will go to needy children in Metro Detroit in time for the holiday season. Last year’s drive collected more than 1,200 toys and $8,000 for Toys for Tots.
