Hanson has made seven field goals from 40+ yards in the first three games, which is also a three-game high during his career.

The Lions re-signed P Nick Harris on Tuesday after placing P Ben Graham on the Reserve/Injured list. Harris returns to Detroit after a successful career with the team from 2003-10. He most recently played with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2011.

Harris also ranks first in career net punting average (36.29), second in career gross punting average (43.18) and first in career punts inside the 20 yard line with 189. His 34 punts inside the 20-yard line in 2005 are the most by a Lions punter in a single season.
