The Lions practiced in shorts on Sandoval Field (indoors) today at the team’s headquarters and practice facility in Allen Park.
The following players have been listed on the Detroit Lions Injury Report: WR Nate Burleson (ankle), S Louis Delmas (groin/biceps/calf), LB Zack Follett (concussion), G Stephen Peterman (foot) and QB Matthew Stafford (right shoulder) did not practice. DE Cliff Avril (knee/finger), C.C. Brown (forearm) and LB DeAndre Levy (groin) were limited in practice today.
The following players were listed on the Minnesota Vikings Injury Report today: WR Percy Harvin (hip/illness) did not practice and WR Bernard Berrian (knee), CB Cedric Griffin (knee) and LB Ben Leber (back) were limited in practice. CB Chris Cook (knee), DT Jimmy Kennedy (knee), T Bryant McKinnie (finger), C John Sullivan (calf) and QB Brett Favre (ankle) had full participation in practice today.
The Detroit Lions will travel to Minnesota to face the division rival Vikings at the Mall of America Field on Sunday, September 26 at 1 p.m. Both teams will be looking for their first wins of the season after close losses in back-to-back weeks.
